Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions organized by category. Please read this before contacting McMo with a direct inquiry.

General

A: This site has been developed from the ground up with security as it’s number one priority. This site is safer and more secure than 95% of websites and e-shops out there, and we fully endorse and confide in payment processing that takes place on the www.McMo.is e-shop and store. Our security standards are far abov the normal payment processing threshold in the tech industry.

A: You can use the subscribe form on the McMo homepage to sign up for a newsletter, and any public art announcements, or galleries that McMo is participating in.

A: You can email an inquiry to contact@mcmo.is, or use the contact form on the McMo homepage.

A: McMo prefers to stick by his artist alias rather than putting his real name out to the world for all spammers, hackers, data harvesters, and internet trolls to see. This also helps compartmentalize McMo’s artist world and his private world. We also just think it’s pretty badass going by McMo.

A: You can contact the Site administrator Dan Ran, via email, at contact@mcmo.is. He will get back to you as soon as he can, and will work through the issue with you.

If you just want to report something that isn’t working on the site, please send an email to contact@mcmo.is and include the following info:

  1. Your name and email address
  2. Your Operating system and web browser version.
  3. A description of the issue
  4. A screenshot or screen recording of the issue happening.
  5. A link to the affected page.
Shipping

A: McMo will ship to any destination in the United States (except Hawaii and Alaska), Canada, or Mexico.

A: Mcmo will be delivering your items in person with his van, as each item requires special handling that general carriers don’t provide.

A: No. McMo will call or email you after you make a purchase, and give you a quote for shipping costs. Please note that this quote will need to be adjusted after the product has arrived and been installed, to match the cost of money spent on gas during McMo’s commute. McMo does not profit off of shipping, and only charges you for gas expenses when directly shipping an installation to your residence or place of business.

A: McMo will contact you as soon as you purchase your item. This is why we require a phone number during the checkout process. After he contacts you, the both of you will have to agree upon a specified time for McMo to haul your installation to your house or venue. Depending on where you live, this could take anywhere from a few days, to a few weeks.

A: McMo’s installations are not shippable via standard shipping companies. They are just too heavy and require special handling and installation. Therefore, McMo himself loads your piece into his van and will drive it to any destination in the United States (except Hawaii or Alaska), Canada, or Mexico. After purchase, McMo will be in direct contact with you via phone and email, to go over shipping details, arrival times, and installation times.

A: This depends on where you live and how far outside of Milwaukee you are. However, shipping will cost the exact dollar amount that it costs McMo to fill up his gas tank during his delivery drive to your residence. He will save gas receipts on his travels, and submit them to you upon arrival. You must repay McMo for gas money spent while delivering your item. No  other charges will apply. Please. A: McMo ships and delivers each installation personally in his van to anywhere in USA, Canada, or Mexico. Therefore, depending on where you live, it could take anywhere from a day to a month for your installation to arrive. You should contact McMO (via Phone, Email, or Text) to arrange shipping/travel times either before or after you purchase an installation. If you don’t contact him yourself, he will surely be contacting you after you make a purchase to arrange shipping arrival and installation times for your purchased Art work.

A: Before McMo travels to the Installation’s destination, McMo will give you an estimate for shipping. After he deliver’s and installs the installation, you will be required to pay for (in person) his gas expenses accrued during his travels. These expenses will add up to the full cost of shipping. You may pay via any major Credit Card, Check, Apple Pay, or $CASH, but we prefer $CASH.

e-Shop / Purchases

A: If the item has shipped, all sales are final and you cannot return anything. McMo does not refund or exchange pieces of art once it is purchased and shipped. Once you buy something, you own it.

A: Please contact McMo directly via email (mcmo@mcmo.is) or by phone/text (+414-522-1288) to inquire about a refund before the item ships. No items will be refunded after the item is shipped by McMo.

A: You can contact McMo via email (mcmo@mcmo.is) or phone (+414-522-1288), and pitch him your idea. McMo will give you an idea of it’s possible or not, and a rough estimate of the cost.

A: McMo will happily travel to the location of your installation and move it for you if you want it to be placed in a new location. However, this will cost you moving and installation fees by McMo. These fees need to be discussed and agreed upon, before McMo travels to move your current installation. For inquiry’s on having your installation moved to a different location, please contact McMo by email or phone.

A: It depends on the piece, the weather, and if your piece is installed indoors or outdoors. In general, each piece could last anywhere from 3 years to a lifetime before it starts severely detiorating. Every item has a different life expectancy dependant on condiditons. We strongly recommend you email, text, or call McMo personally and inquire directly, about item longevity for the piece you are interested in.

A: Both. They can be placed indoors, or outdoors, but keep in mind, outdoor installations will wear and tear quicker than indoor installations, and may need restoration by McMo sooner than indoor pieces.

A: Sales tax is automatcially calculated in the checkout area, based upon the State and city that you live in. Sales tax will be included in your final purchase.

A: McMo has quite literally put blood, sweat, and tears into these peices. Moving around heavy stones, rebar, rocks, etc. costs McMo a LOT of time and a LOT of energy. The vision to creating each piece is usually very lengthy and requires signs from the universe for each installation to come fruition and fit properly. The steps McMo takes to build, deliver, and install each installation is very extensive, and it requires knowledge that only he, as the designler, has. So we strongly believe each peice is worth it’s value.

A: You need to first contact McMo via email (mcmo@mcmo.is) or phone (+414-522-1288) to inquire about size and dimensions of the piece you have purchased or are looking at.

A: McMo installations can usually be installed in a few hours to a day.

A: Yes, but you are going to have to travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin as these installations are not mobile. You can arrange an appointment with McMo by contacting him via email (mcmo@mcmo.is) or by phone (+414-522-1288).  If McMo doesn’t answer, please leave a voicemail or send a text and McMo will get back to you as soon as he can.
